SkullBunny69
Hey guys, so I have a couple of questions that I'm hoping someone with far more knowledge than I can answer... 1. Grass.... I have Tookies Grass Textures and Fallout 4 Seasons Autumn, but there seems to be very little grass at all. Alot of green painted land, but not much grass. I know this is as simple as an ini tweak. I just don't know the values to tweak. Any help would be greatly appreciated here. 2. Mods being installed/initialized every time I load a game..... Like it says... everytime I load the game up, I get a message that Legendary Overhaul has been initialized, and Northland Diggers has been installed. Getting this message everytime I load the game up makes me feel like something's not right. Load order possibly? Or is this supposed to happen...everytime I load a save? 3. Natural Atmospheric Commonwealth and Reverb and Ambiance Overhaul making audio sliders reset everytime I load a game. I've asked the author N.A.C. and he swears that they're compatible, and that he uses them with no problem. I've tested it with ONLY NAC, ONLY RAO, and ONLY NAC and RAO. They work until I load them together. Load order doesn't seem to matter. My audio sliders have to be reset everytime I play. This shouldn't be happening. Should I request a patch in the mod requests? Or is there something I can do about this myself? SO there you go. A few questions. Hopefully someone can help me this time. Thanks.
Ethreon
Set to 20They need to fix/change that in their mod most likelyThat's more of a game issue as far as I know.
SkullBunny69
Thanks for the reply, Ethreon, it took a minute to figure out which one you were talking about, but that worked.
AGreatWeight
Been using both NAC and ROA together for a while now without the issue you have. If one of those mods was causing this, the odds of it being ROA are far higher.
Vormina
I've also been using NAC and ROA together for months with no slider resets. I have NAC near the bottom of my load order, not sure if that makes any difference. The Northland Diggers message is normal.
SkullBunny69
Hmph...I'm not sure what's up with the sound sliders then. I've tried every combination of load order that I can think of with those two to no avail. I remade a clean save with all the basic sounds how I want them. Then applied mods to that, and while the sliders are still broken, the basic sounds remain how I want them. Just have to reset RAO/NAC sounds every time, which isn't a huge problem I suppose. Thanks for the replies, guys. I have one more question, though, I have a clean save already loaded where I went all the way through the Concorde/meeting Preston thing, but I accidentally "deleted" it from Mod Organizers "Save" tab. While the save is still in my save folder, the game doesn't recognize it at all. I'm half convinced that this is either an .ini fix, or a file to edit within MO somewhere, but I'm lost on where/what. Anyone know how I can make Fallout read all saves again? As it sits it only reads the 3 saves that I hadn't deleted from MO. I've tried running through the launcher, f4se, and the FO4.exe with MO shut off, and it still only reads the 3 saves that I hadn't deleted from MO. Thanks. SkullBunny69
Hey guys, does anyone know of any mod compilation guides similar to these... https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3642835-ultimate-fallout-4-mod-compilation-100-working-mods-with-installation-instructions/ and http://wiki.step-project.com/User:Gernash/MODWiki#Base_Mods The former is over a year old, and some of those mods are either broken with the latest update, or non-existent on the Nexus anymore, and the latter I just can't seem to get working with his patches. My game before I started worked better than following his installation guide. Though I will give credit where it's due, and say that if you're using Mod Organizer, there's no better tutorial for setting everything up to work properly with MO than Gernash's. So I've looked as far as I know to, and that consists of googling "Fallout 4 mod compilation" which is where I came up with two aforementioned guides. Thanks.
