I think you mean in a sensible manner. Pertaining to why people make cosmetic modifications in a game like Skyrim isn't to fulfill any sort of sexual desire, as stated previously. It's just an addition/improvement to make to the game and to do so in a practical way, as such is the way of modding. In the end, you're just reading into it too much. This is NOT Roleplaying. Roleplay is a player of either sex playing as their character (any race or sex) so in the players imagination trying to act in game as their character might act in any given situation. A lot of Roleplayers make up back stories for their characters to explain their actions for instance, they may have had a tough, deprived or violent early life so they join the Dark Brotherhood as this is what they relate to emotionally (This is a very basic example). You are wrong to state your grievence of men playing as the opposite sex as Roleplaying, although this is not to say that a man can not roleplay as a female character, but this is NOT what "Roleplay" is or what it means. for example - I am a woman who roleplays a woman. I do not use any sex or nude mods (as yet) and I do not get off on it sexually. That said! On the point you are making which is one of why there are so many sex mods and why do men play female characters... On the sex mods I kinda agree, its sad that there are sooo many of them and some are really tacky, but its just personal taste and I guess you have to accept that everyone is entitled to do with their game what ever floats their boat. I don't mind the nude mods really but just the sheer number and quality of them is a bit disparaging. On men playing as woman, why does it matter? I think you are wrong when you imply that men don't play women because they want to look at a fit girl. I think the majority do! The men I know who do, have no gender confusion are mostly hetrosexual and just generally want to look at a fit womans ass! Do some choose females because of point number one "Sexual Depravity, desire for a "Perfect Partner" even in a virtual universe." Well maybe? but why is this any different to buying playboy, or watching a film with beautiful actresses in. forgive my terrible writting, its late here and I am sleepy but you got me with your troll! Variety is the spice of life. Games aren't real, and the more options you have to make the game more fun, exciting, whatever for YOU... is what matters. Don't like playing as a girl? Fine, don't. Don't like nude mods? Fine don't use them. Other people do. I personally play a female because I am one, and quite frankly her ass isn't a bad view. Bubblz Posted January 13, 2012 Share Posted January 13, 2012 Straight female here and I used the Nude Oblivion mod for similar reasons that Janus mentioned earlier, but also because I just thought it was weird that everyone wore brown diapers. Honestly, the underwear was more unseemly than the nudity. Besides, everyone knows that real barbarians freeball it XD Just kidding. I'm pretty sure the mages are too.
