Rebellion or Legion

Problem is they aren't the Sons and Daughters of Skyrim anymore than anyone else. The Forsworn were there before them and so too were the Orcs apparently. The Dwemer are gone, but they were there before the Nords. Skyrim was a refined Falmer kingdom before the Nords invaded.

Ulfric goes on about the 'true sons and daughters of Skyrim' and their right to govern themselves - a high irony after you learn that he slaughtered the Forsworn upon his return with his legion buddies for rebelling against the Nords and setting up a government to rule themselves.

Actually the Nords were first. Mankind, except the Redguards, was created on top of The Throat of the World by Kyne, the proto-nords left for Atmora while some stayed and moved south to Cyrodill.

Skyrim is the land of the Nords and all Humans as they were the first people there.

Where did you that get from? Its mentioned the Nords came with a ship (the original companions!), the Foresworn where the actual natives.

"Nords consider themselves to be the children of the sky. They call Skyrim the Throat of the World, because it is where the sky exhaled on the land and formed them. They see themselves as eternal outsiders and invaders, and even when they conquer and rule another people; they feel no kinship with them."

"Throat of the World

This is the highest mountain in Skyrim, and the highest in Tamriel aside from Vvardenfell in Morrowind. The Nords believe men were formed on this mountain when the sky breathed onto the land. Hence the Song of Return refers not only to Ysgramor's return to Tamriel after the destruction of Saarthal, but to the Nords' return to what they believe was their original homeland. "

... Again just so story about their beliefs, and conflicts with the companion story to be the original colonizers of Skyrim and the Foresworn story, to be natives.

-Humanity was born at Snow-Throat

-Some left to go to Atmora becoming the Nords

-Some stayed becoming the Nedic people

-Some of the Nedic people mated with Elves forming the Bretons

-Bretons live in Skyrim

-Nords come back from Atmora causing the whole war with The Falmer and whatnot

The bretons were only the first people to stay, all humans come from Snow-throat, and thus Skyrim belongs to all mankind, except the redguards. the Devs have said ALL Life started on Tamriel.

You are seriously debating some of the most common lore, its like not knowing what the towers are.

Not according to the Lore in the game. The Nords were slaughtering invaders. All the races I mentioned were there before them.

There's at least one book and the pocket guide to the empire that say otherwise.

I just remembered reading somewhere, weren't the Bosmer also part humans? Can't remember exactly...

No bretons are half-human

Bosmer were made out of the same spirits as the Khajiit.
