snapper69
I also thought about it, but all 3 versions had issues with Windows 10, so I decided to stick with NMM.
HeyYou
Are they still supporting MO?
snapper69
Apparently there is a new developer taken over and supporting it, there was something about it in another thread.
Groucho14E
Is MO worth it? If you want to tinker with plugins and files, I think so. MO lets you overwrite files virtually, so you can change something in vanilla or another mod without destroying the original. Just make folders in your Mod Organizer\Fallout 4\mods directory for as many experiments and projects as you want and toggle them on/off at will. I'm not aware of a specific guide to using MO with Fallout 4, so use guides written for Skyrim. I think Gopher did a youtube series on it. For FO4, you'll need to download Mod Organizer 2.0.x beta from GitHub: https://github.com/TanninOne/modorganizer/releases. In my experience (Windows 10), it works fine with FO4 itself, but it's got some bugs with external utilities. They're irritating, but I can live with them. The bad news/good news is that the creator of MO is no longer working on it, because Nexus hired him to develop a new NMM. I have no idea whether that'll be released next month, next year, or next decade. Migrating 200+ mods from NMM to MO is going to be a chore. There's no way around that. Again, read guides for Skyrim. The way I would do it is to make a note or screenshot of my load order and the dates I installed each mod (if NMM shows that). Then, install each mod in Mod Organizer, in order of your load order for mods with plugins and by date for mods without them. This will make the override priority (left pane) match your load order with no extra effort. About merging plugins: I think that's a job for FO4Edit, not Mod Organizer. Where MO comes in handy is that you can "activate" all the mods which you made a custom plugin for (left pane), and then make the original plugins of each mod "optional", so they don't clutter your load order (right pane), without deleting anything. Hope this helps. Edit: I hadn't heard about the new developer. I'll have to check that out. Edited January 31, 2017 by Groucho14E
