Majormonologue
so I got ETAC cause it looked super cool but it keeps crashing to desktop, the game works fine and then it just crashes randomly when I'm in cities, this could be my computers fault but I figured it would be worth asking someone cause it looks like a really cool mod, my computer isn't very good so it could just be that though, any help is appriceated
LeddBate
Without more info it's hard to say. Most likely, a mod conflict. Did you study ETaC's FAQ? Do so, then check your mod list. It could be a conflict, or you might simply be missing a patch for one of your other mods. ETaC is not that strenuous on systems in and of itself, but in conjunction with texture mods it might be laying the beat-down on your GPU. Especially if it only has 2GB of VRAM. List your mod order and your rig's specs to see if something leaps out at any of us. In the meantime, try using the modular version of ETac. Add one module first and see if you have any problems with it. If not, add another and another until you start having crashes. At least now you know what area(s) seem to be the issue. Might lead you to the mod conflict quicker.
snelss0
EtaC also has a compatibility section in the forums. Make sure you have the ETaC patches for all the current mods that are needed.
Majormonologue
I believe that the crashing was not due to the mod as I disabled it I still had the issue
snelss0
Skyrim bakes scripts into your save file, so even if you disable a mod, the problem can persist. Test on a new game.

LeddBate
Well, if you tried a new game WITHOUT ETaC and you're still crashing, then you may have a corrupted game. Try re-downloading your game from Steam. Clear your game-cache while you're at it. You mentioned your rig "isn't that good". List you rig's specs and we'll see if something leaps out at us.
