DocWho placed his deeply sleeping granddaughter into one of many timespace statuscapsules and then entered another. Soon he was also deeply in status as the TARDIS dematerialised. Even as it did the ghoulmans departed with their newly found loot, pulling along the luggage trunks with them. Both horizontal elevator blastdoors were now unsealed, unlocked. It seemed, at first, that only standard semiactive VaultTech subvaults were being revealed as elite teams moved through the lower levels. They came fast, savage and brutal, being hivaca like but not of them. Biometallic-biomechanical of black whipping tails, of extending biometallic fangs, of spitting balls of toxic death. The metaslayers lay down an amazingly accurate, withering barrage of pulse projectiles. Swarmvaca, the hivaca had identified them as. They were a cousin species to the hivaca arising from the past when a split had taken place with one group joining the Hivequatoes and the other half continuing a more nomadic existence. The swarmvaca devoured all they could and then moved on, creating only temporary nests. Just as the hivevaca started to become more 'civilised' the swarmvaca began to get more savage. The creatures began retreating almost at once, driven back up along the big hallway that they had come charging down. They left behind dead-dying creatures of their kind, all being of the same kind. Soon the metaslayers were joined by reinforcements of more metaslayers along metaserkers and Metatroopers. There also came a taskteam to carefully examine the creatures, all having died before they arrived. Inside each, and every, dead biometalic-biomechanical creature was a black jelly worm thing, dead and slowly shrivelling up, that looked to be a piece of Raveningblob. Sashi88U87 examined a piece of the black jelly substance. “It matches samples that we took from other places. Raveningblob like if not from that entity! That is Raveningblob as being enslaved by the AzaShadow or so it has been; I wonder if that has changed.” Metamind: “That Raveningblob has somehow broken lose of AzaShadow's control over it? Then it may have turned against AzaShadow and, taking it by surprise, did it a great deal of damage.” Edited April 7, 2017 by Maharg67
Maharg67
MFFF 42.2[96] They looked down that great hallway when something started to approach being a great big black jelly thing. Raveningblob, or at an aspect of it, was coming to investigate the situation. Its troubling, very alien, mentality was seething with rage but also curiosity, of sorts, mingled with driving hunger. Then it stopped abruptly and it spoke to them as a chilling telepathic voice. “You kill Raveningblob's pets, not good! AzaShadow send you to find and enslave us-I once more. Raveningblob kill you, devour you.” A metapath responded with some difficulty. “AzaShadow is our enemy and has returned to the other world where the AzaAzrarzaAza strives to conquer all.” Raveningblob: “AzaAzrarzaAza is less than nothing, is illusion concealing darkest truth of Azagods that is the Azagoddess. She be one that is thirteen that are one. Azagods less powerful but each of thirteen is boosted by power of one of the Azagoddess aspects. This one is Raveningblob, created by bloated, disgusting, AzaAzrarzaAza to serve the never ending lust of Azagoddess. She enslaved Raveningblob when one sought only freedom. Now one seeks to go to true home world and not that other world one's ancestors invaded; that is not one's true home world. I read... sort of read... your bizarre mentality. No, one does not enslave swarmvaca for they are one's pet-companions and with out one's guidance would be more dangerous than they are now.” Genli88O12: “Did you force the AzaShadow to retreat to that other world?” Raveningblob: “No but one caused it much harm; no, there is another out there that did that. You give me the bodies, of my pets, back and I go now in peace.” Raveningblob left with the swarmvaca corpses and a bundle of ESCFs (emergency survival concentrate foodbars) that it considered to be delicious; it did have at least a few things in common with Jollyjelly and Hunterblob. Raveningblob did not say where it was going to or how much of Raveningblob it actually was. Nor would it identify the force that caused AzaShadow so much harm that it fled from that world. The searching, through the underneath supervault, continued. Edited April 8, 2017 by Maharg67

She gave over some ESCFs (Emergency Survival Concentrate Foodbars) that the deathclaws considered okay to eat and which the nibblerclaws considered delicious. Earthsisla the Gaiasister looked to be identical to Sonya01A01 and others. She had been on the run, through the Wastelands, since something terrible had attacked and killed or wounded her Gaiafollower comrades. At least she had sensed one death. The other Gaiafollowers had sensed she was the target, had delayed the monster while giving her equipment-supplies and sending her running. What had it been? A nibblerclaw lay on its back, making odd noises of pleasure as she rubbed-scratched its belly. A word came to her and it was Azacula! Then another word came to her and it was Azademigod, a follower of Azagods and something truly dreadful called a AzaAzrarzaAza. The Azademigod was out there and only the deathclaws kept it from entering the caves but it was also wary of her, of her growing powers that the Gaiamothers had early on detected in the GaiaOasis where the Treemangod flourished. She pondered her options and did not like them much. It was a fair distance from where she had left behind her comrades and they might not even be in the same spot. GaiaOasis was even further away. The taskteam had come to do field research and to collect samples for further research back in GaiaOasis. They had expected to encounter threats but nothing like the one that they had run into. When the transparent cube floated into the caves the clawbeasts ignored it and very quickly the Gaiasister was sleeping, curled up with the nibblerclaw. As for the deathclaws, and other nibblerclaws, they were busy devouring clonemeat slabs or drinking pristine water from big, wide, deep bowls. Soon they were all sleeping, oddly deep, and other clawbeasts coming into the caves soon joined them. Edited April 15, 2017 by Maharg67

A few lucky citizens drove in motorised vehicles while more numerous semicitizens rode horses or bicycles or walked. Even more numerous subcitizens walked. DomeManhattan was not a fair place to live but at least it was better than trying to survive out in the Wastelands; that was true even for animan, ghoulman and other nonhuman subcitizens. The citydome sparkled softly high above. Subcitizens were repairing a street with basic tools such as shovels, pickaxes and wheelbarrows. Robots, and other machines, maintained the highways, the subway network and the green citizen zone. The orange semicitizen zone had the use of a mixture of tech but the majority of areas, yellow sectors, had to mostly stick with more primitive means of repair. MissFortune, a woman aspect of the Mysterious Stranger, rode her big thrusting atomic motorbike along the best road in the area. She passed slowly crumbling structures but also quite well maintained ones. Many structures had long been dropped and their materials recycled. In helmet, leathers but no colours, she was clearly a motorbike rider and her signs plus panniers showed she was a registered-licensed high status courier. Dreaded black fatigues, and body-armour, wearing Security Police were at check points that she passed through; she did so with out anybody even looking at her too closely. Then she was slowing her machine, was parking it, securing it and was striding to where an elegantly thin old man was sitting on a wooden park bench. It was a small memorial park to the Doomsdays and the many victims of the great madness. A statue of a proud, warmly smiling, handsome President Charmaton could be seen in the park but that was only to be expected. Statues, plaques, paintings, posters and other representations, of the president for life, could be seen through out much of DomeManhattan. MissFortune sat next o him in her biker, not bikie, outfit. The old man smiled at her warmly, with a sparkle in his eyes before he handed to her a sealed envelope of the secured kind often carried by high status couriers. Maharg67
MFFF 44.2[99] He spoke. “Strong evidence that not only is the real President Charmaton dead but he has been so for over ten years. The DomeMan8 have been the real local rulers since they had Charmaton assassinated along with a few of the president's most favoured people. What is of real note here is the DomeMan8's links with something called the 1Gen1. If anything it is the 1Gen1 who really control this Domeland but from a distance. They have a large underground complex, ManhatVault999, deep beneath DomeManhattan. Something tells me that you know much of this already.” MissFortune nodded as she took the envelope and made it vanish away with impressive speed. “The 1Gen1 has also controlled Vaultcity but that is experiencing a successful revolt against its puppet government, corporation and defence-security force. The 1Gen1 were linked with the TechCorps, the EagleEnclaven, the Illuminati, the TransEnclaven, the Master Crime Syndicates and much else of the unsavoury sort. They still run the TechCorps Republic, the TriInstitute and other factions through proxies. It is hard to say just how powerful-influential they are now for they were badly damaged by the Doomsdays as all were except a tiny minority.” The Worldnet Special Agent frowned softly. “A tiny minority? Who would they be?”” MissFortune smiled. “You Worldnet people who managed to hide in twixtphase from most its negative effects. It is good that you took many others with you though that made survival more difficult in the longer run.” The WSA frowned a little less softly. “Most of our peoples are trapped there, having become irreversibly adapted to the Twixtphase Sanctuary's other worldly nature.” MissFortune shook her head. “There is hope and it lies with the Metacube that is to be found transdimensionally anchored inside the Metavault that is one phaseshift removed from TechVault619. If you can shift your people into the Metavault, they will be both able to live there well, with less difficulty than in your current situation, and slowly-steadily readjust to what you take as normal reality. Hopefully the whole HopeSanctuary could be transported there.” Edited April 11, 2017 by Maharg67
Maharg67
MFFF 44.3[100] MisterWhit lost his frown. “It is good to have hope as the conditions in the HopeSanctuary are starting to worsen despite all our efforts and your assistance along with that of others. Over 100 million people and 100 billion lifeforms, overall, need to be rescued.” MisterWhit was one of the relatively few of the Worldnetfolk able to leave HopeSanctuary. He had exotic abilities but they were different from those of the Mysterious Stranger and other of his kind. MissFortune spoke. “Here she comes!” The woman looked like Sonya01A01 but was dressed in typical middle class civilian gear including a kneedress. It was an avatar-aspect of SheJona01 who was still back in the very special domechamber, deep inside the Metacube. She halted, facing them while still standing, and spoke. “It is coming, a time for a restarting of what has happened; the SheJonas have learned what they must, experienced what they can, and now are returning to be more fully as one. The restarting needs your support, along with that of other entities, so that this world can gain more hope.” MissFortune responded. “One will do what one can but one's people are limited in how much, and in what, we can do. A much 'higher authority' is needed to intervene for you to gain what you want but, remember, there is always a price.” MisterWhit nodded. “Yes, there is always a 'price' as my own people have learned the hard way in our ventures with the Twixtphase Sanctuary Project and the construction of the Worldnet to monitor-assist those of the of this world who need it.” SheJona01 simply nodded and then she was gone. Having been a solid illusion, there was no sparkling shimmer with her departure as she simply switched off. MissFortune shook her head just a little. “I do not think that she wanted to know about the 'price', so determined is she to gain what she wants. We will need to assist the SheJonas as much as we can and, as already stated, your people could greatly gain from doing so. It is time for us to part and go our separate ways. Not only do we both have much to do but I am sensing disturbing, growing, interest in us by very hidden observers.” Edited April 11, 2017 by Maharg67

There were TechVaults, LifeVaults, StoreVaults BaseVaults and others linked by networks of network-systems that also ran through them. Except there had been, in the past few years, trouble as rebels rose against the growing corruption, autocracy and craziness of the Vaultcity VaultcityTriad. The VCT was mad up of the Vaultcity Government, Vaultcity Corporation and Vaultcity Defence Security Service; that is the VCG, the VCC and the VCDSS. As a rebel she slept always in light flexible armoured fatigues and almost all of her body-armour when on duty. So all she had to do was to slip on her helmet grab up her AKM16A1 autocarbine and start running for her emergency gathering station. The muffled sounds of explosions, and gunfire, came to her but also the strong subtle sense that something was not quite right. This was not an attack being waged by the brutal, corrupt, VCDSS with its habit of often committing war crimes. Nor was there any attack expected on that well secured outpost; this was especially since the rebel alliance began to win the rebellion with even VCDSS soldiers, and police, joining them along with citizen militia and others. Her platoon13 was soon on the move under her command, she being a lieutenant. They were to secure the great big tunnel just north of the outpost but with the assistance of two other platoons, special squads, robots and even some combat androids. Too bad there were no rebel power armour units in the area, they being in more actively hostile areas. Rhonda had gone back to the outpost for some brief rest-recreation before she either went on leave or went back to fighting and was not the only one to do so; that was how unexpected any attack was. They sped along the big tunnel, with other soldiers and fast rolling robots on tracks. In the distance bizarre creatures were attacking being things drifting through the air. She was looking at azashazes though she did not know it. Something drove them on, something darkly malignant and powerful but hidden away. Azacyborgs, twisted cyborgs, came in lesser numbers along with twisted human azacolytes with a strange mixture of primitive, more modern and exotic weapons; the last wore black masks and hoodrobes that went down to their knees but they also wore combat fatigues underneath. Then it came to her that she was facing azashazes, azacyborgs and azacolytes that were led-pushed by something dreadfully powerful being an Azademigod. Powerful enough psykers, in large enough numbers, would have been useful but she was the only one in the sector that she knew of. Suddenly the enemy were turning and fleeing back the way they had come. In astonishment the rebel lieutenant watched the transparent cube float towards her, inside it being a naked woman who could have been her identical sister. Then she was falling into warm, welcoming, comforting darkness as somebody, or something, caught her and lowered her to the superconcrete floor of the big fluroflat lit tunnel.
