Is there a console command that lets me instantly gain settlers in one fell swoop, rather than waiting for the settlers to randomly come when they hear my settlement beacon?

Googled (I suggest you try it sometimes... it works!) with keywords FO4 settlers spawn command and first thing that popped up was this:

player.placeatme 00020593 X where "X" stands for the amount of settlers you want to add.

Keep two things in mind:

- When not using mods that add the capability to get more than vanilla amount of settlers, the game will get wonky and will start crashing at random because of the following:

- Amount of settlers is tied to a few stats, one of them being player character's charisma. If you want to add more settlers than what would be allowed, you'll need to set the charisma higher as well, but again with possible results of odd game behaviour and crashes as a result...

I probably wouldn't have given him that much information.

Also as Jimmy says, there will be issues if you generate more settlers than the game says there should be and as I stated there will be issues with settlers not generated naturally. The way I understand it is that when a settler is "attracted to a settlement", it trips some scripts to add to your game state, though if you just spawn them in and assign them to your settlement then it doesn't trip all of the scripts and there are inconsistencies in your game which will impact you the further along you play. Just fair warning.
