jmlport98
Alright, this is my rant on the Guilds of Skyrim. The TV is Oblivion was a lot of fun. The thefts were different almost every time. Each one had a unique setting, with a different and diverse way to steal it. The DB was the same way, and the bonus items were really cool and sometimes hard to get. In Skyrim, well, in layman's terms THEY SUCKED!(thieves guild wasn't so bad because of the armor you got :P). Every quest was exactly the same, little to no diversity. The ones in Oblivion were so original and re-playable. Now, the Mage's guild. The College's questline was so short, very forgettable. The Mage's guild In Oblivion was, in my opinion, a lot better. Taking out spellcrafting was terrible idea, and I can't wait for the inevitable mod that adds this in. The Companions was a REALLY cool questline. I really enjoyed it, along with the (SPOILER ALERT) ability to be a werewolf. (END SPOILER) I never actually played much of the Fighter's Guild in Oblivion, but I think Bethesda should have included it alongside the Companions. Same thing goes with the Mage`s guild, that should have been there AS WELL as the College. Your thoughts?

chanchan05
All of them are too damn short! And when you talk to other people, it seems that there may be more quests they should give you but no.....
Dukkah
Yeah, guild quests were short, short, short. For the College in particular, there is just nothing after the main quest is over. Makes me wonder why Savos needed Mirabelle to take care of his day-to-day tasks; it's not like he had any work to do as Archmage.

As an Archmage he is obligated to be enchanting 24/7. He wouldn't be able to enchant if he had to do all the tedious things Mirobelle does. Where do you think all the money the College uses as upkeep come from? There's just the archmage and the other bald guy doing enchanting weapons and armor to sell all over skyrim. LOL. daventry
If only Bethesda notice our Polls, do they notice our Discussions and Ideas and Complaints, or is it Only Mods they care about our existence from. I find Oblivion Quests better :)
InAComaDial999
The quest lines are too short if you only play the quests that you "have" to play. E.g. you can complete the Companions questline and only do a single radiant quest. IMO the flaw is that they should have required more of them to progress to the next "level" of the quest line. You certainly have the option to do that yourself, though. And in the case of the Companions, you have quite a few more quests to do even after you've become Harbinger, e.g. the ones to cure the other Companions of lycanthropy. Iv000
The quests themselves are too short. But the stories are, personally, a lot better then in Oblivion. Especially the Dark Brotherhood.Mages guild is like in Oblivion but shorter. Companions guild isn't far from Oblivions either, though it has a bit more character and story to it. Thieves guild is a lot better then in Oblivion, though I still haven't finished it. So I'd say that Skyrim's are a tad better.
faifh
All of them are too damn short! And when you talk to other people, it seems that there may be more quests they should give you but no..... I think the thieves guild was a fair one. Biggest bad was the bards college. Bards do tomb raiding? Get me that of this tomb, and get me this of that tomb, bla ... seriously, hadn't they been able to do anything more bardish?
