supafuzz
I suppose with the CK and Mods, you guys can Show Beth THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT. Now where are we going to find Voice Actors that fits the Game. :unsure:why do we need voice actors? :) don't know about the rest of the forum but i can live with having to read the dialogue off the screen if it means better and less linear quests. Ricksnowy
well I can only speak for the fighters and mages so far... I did a little of the DB but not much.... Oblivions were WAY better.... IMO beth seems to have targeted their release datee and said "we got a start and finish... thats good enuf" Please understand I do like the game but...... it just give the whole feeling of "IS THAT IT?????". thank YOU TO THE MOD COMMUNITY we know there are some VERY talented people here that WILL fix the flaws left by Beth. Many are allredy fixing the flaws in the game play.... and lastly I am hoping we are not overly building up the ck like we did for the game
jmlport98
It seems as if Beth relied on Radiant, thinking it would somehow best the amazing guild quests in Oblivion. A big, overweight NO.
David Brasher
I vote for Morrowind. It had the best quest-lines. Skyrim has more joinable factions than Oblivion, and that is good. The Oblivion quest lines seemed to be longer and have more play value than the Skyrim quest lines. I agree with what some other people have said that the random radiant quests are often not offered to you when you are looking for a quest, and they are rather flat and generic and all the same as each other. The ones I have done have basically amounted to, "Walk all the way across Skyrim and grab this wonderful and valuable lost item that I know exactly how to find, and then walk all the way across Skyrim to get back here and give it to me, and I will pay you 50 gold for your efforts." keastkannegaard
It sadly seems the better tech they are working with the lower quality of the storylines/quests seems to be :( First got on board with TES: Morrowind and it lacked a lot of things, like a compass tho it didnt have to be a GPS tracker like in Skyrim and Oblivion, the quests and storylines was by far better, and bigger, than both Oblivion and Skyrim. But of the 2 options here, Oblivion got the best questlines.Skyrim guilds, simply feel like you join the guild, gets told to do a quest for the guild master, 1 hour later you get back from the quest, "well the old guild master died, and non of us wants to be guild master, so we all voted you should be the new puppet guild master, enjoy!". The Thief Guild was decent tho, but could have been WAY longer, before the story starts to unfold. Rest of the storylines feels rushed :( There is defently something to build on for all of the guilds. In Oblivion the guilds felt more like they had a story they wanted to tell, but when you were done with the quest line that was it. Skyrim its the other way around, no story to tell, but a lot of stuff "radiant quests" to do after the questline was done. I know what i prefer... Noobo
Its great that someone came up with this poll. I'd have to agree Oblivion's faction quests were much more engaging:Yes its longerYes the scenario's were more interesting (who didn't like the crazy murderer house party in the dark brotherhood?)Yes the rewards for each quest was better (skyrim: heres 50g for taking down a random sabrecat stuck in a house - seriously wtf?) But moreover, After each mission you did feel like you were working your way up through the ranks. By the end of the faction quests, I felt like i deserved to be guildmaster/grayfox/listener/archmage In skyrim it was - oh now after a few quests im part of the circle, oh now Im harbinger - and what are the perks? nothing substantialThough i enjoyed the story behind the Thieves and Darkbrotherhood - the execution was definitely lacking - (because taking down the emperor only requires you to kill his cousin, his chef, and some security officer) Overall Oblivion > Skyrim
Rimland
seems Radiant Quests trumped Guild Quests I want to join the College ! Okay, summon Flame Atronoch, and if you can't, than go buy the scroll 15 seconds down the street ! But I'm Dragonborn b!t@h! Let me in!! okay :( LAME ! the only thing that makes sense about the Psijic Order is that it'll be the DLC ! serves absolutely not purpose should be renamed the Psijic MacGuffin !
