so um, I recently reinstalled skyrim and made a similar mod state so I could load an old file. (my game was crashing after I uninstalled endural and my game was so full of mod files dependent on eachother that this was just easier.

So, I load my game, I turn around, and I'm greeted by..... what in gods name happend to farith and how the hell do I fix her without losing her s*** and having to go get her again. http://imgur.com/a/Z47WL

*snerk*

I'm sorry. I truly apologize but that was hilarious.

*ahem* Unfortunately, if I understood you correctly, you've tried to use an old save file(s) after re-installing Skyrim and re-installing your original mods. I say "unfortunately" because it is highly unlikely that you got the mods installed in the exact same way they were previously. Example, one mod overwrites certain files in another mod and the first time you clicked "yes" and this time you clicked "no", etc. etc. for all the other mods that do that. I'm not saying that's definitely your problem, but it's a good example.

Another issue could be that one or more mods have received an update, which can also cause issue with your save(s).

Yet another issue is that if your save(s) are REALLY old, perhaps Skyrim itself got an update (or two) since you made those saves.

Saves made with lots of mods often have script records "baked" into them. Un-installing mods, even if you re-install them later, can cause all sorts of issues when you try to use an old save.

Finally, I suggest you move this request to this sub-forum. You're likely to get more help as many of us visit it specifically looking for issues to help with. Unfortunately, I'm not an expert in cleaning/repairing save files.
