FalloutOrion
For Duel wielders, such as myself, we value high mobility and quick attacks, while defending ourselves only with speed and agility. Because duel wielders do not get really any defense mechanic, myself (and I am sure many others) would LOVE a dodge/leap mechanic, where if you tap the sprint button while going in a certain direction, you would be able to leap to that location, to quickly dodge an attack. Is there a mod that can do this? I would appreciate some comments on this topic. Edited January 15, 2012 by FalloutOrion
Jeffman12
If I'm in trouble I diveroll, sure it's a little clunky but unless this entire engine gets a motion mechanic overhaul, I don't think it'll change any time soon. Having a single go to button would obsolesce my current tactics, though, so I'm not against the concept of this.Having my sneak perks filled out generally puts combat on hold because the enemy suddenly loses track of the player when this is done. Allephus
I do like this idea, but I'd really like to see it implemented while sprinting. While sprinting, your jump would propel you into a "leap-animation" as opposed to the standard jump. Diveroll? You mean the sneak perk? It has saved my life in this regard many times. Unless that is not what you're talking about.

All in as fluid a single action as this game will allow with its bulky feeling controls.
huntsman2310
A way to extend this would be to include a long jump used when sprinting, seems a bit stupid that you can't do that at all for some reason.
