HuskerMath
I've been lurking around Nexus for some time now, and there's quite a few talented individuals here... unfortunately, I'm missing out on a huge part. I've tried quite a few weapon mods (not replacers or retextures - new weapons), and none of them have worked, so I'm clearly doing something wrong. I currently have Weapons of the Third Era, Sword of the One Eyed Crow, and a handful of other weapon additions in the mod manager. Not a single one of them work, but all other mods do. I can't craft them, Eorlund doesn't sell them, and, obviously, they are never dropped. Are these mods supposed to be handled differently than others? Basically, all I do is download with the manager, install them, and check them on the list... just like with all the other mods. Thank you for any help! nosisab
Sorry I don't know the two mentioned mods. It's possible (I would need to donwload them to verify) the mod is packed in a non standard folder structure. For example if the packed file has a single folder named toward the mod and inside it is the actual folder structure (like /data or /meshes, /texture...) the installation tool may become confused and install the folder as it is instead actually installing the folder contents. May be worthy verifying if is the case. Although does not seem to be the current case, a mod can have "choices" between options and they may be even exclusive, in this case, if a script is not provided to allow the choices, the manager will install everything and with this will come conflicts. HuskerMath
I tried installing them manually, and I didn't get them to work that way either. Granted, if I try to install any mod manually, it's a 50-50 chance that it won't work out lol Yeah, I learned about the choices thing when I started using Deadly Spell Impacts, but even if I hadn't, none of these mods have choices. I mean, I'm sure I'm making just a small, stupid mistake, because I never see people having problems in the comments sections of these mods. diaphantos
You might have to add them manually through the console
HuskerMath
Oh, sorry, I meant to mention that. This is kind of the final straw that told me I'm doing something wrong - even cheating won't work on anything. Am I able to only have only one weapon mod at a time?
