Once we have animations and game mechanics for guns/rifles it should be easy to add weapons. We will see. I would prefer a 2-mouse-click control so if you want a melee strike you would need a third button (or maybe somehow clicking both mouse buttons would work like the dual melee attack). MeanThanatos Posted January 29, 2012 Share Posted January 29, 2012 I love the idea of a gun, but what if instead of magic based bullets, the gun was itself magic run and could project sharpened slugs? The concept would be much closer to lore (very much akin to a bow and arrow). If you make the gun craftable (using maybe dwemer metal and a grand soul gem), you could then enchant the gun to have a magical property, again very similar to the bow and arrow. You could also craft the slugs using various metals. You could have different looking slugs with increasing damage based on the metals used. I was thinking the slug could be a stylish looking cone, maybe with a cylinder on the firing end to give it a little balance. Just some ideas.
