bbbao
Hello all , I am currently using 3ds max 2012 and figment's nif script. With vanilla head textures and mesh I did some experimentsI imported the vanilla mesh and then without doing anything just exported the mesh right away as nif format. Although there wasn't any modification done there was clearly visible seam lines around the neckAnd I think even the Outfit Studio method creates those seams too. even though vanilla head mesh and Max/ OS exported mesh looked identical the exported ones got some blunt shading seam issues. How do I remove these seams? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are some photos: One on the left :vanilla textures and mesh One on the right:vanilla textures and the mesh exported from Max/OS
Ethreon
Select your mesh>Modifiers>Mesh Editing>Edit Normals and in the right side panels select Smooth after you have selected all normals (use CTRL+A to do that). Should probably do it.
