metrohunter2000
I was modsurfing, and It occured to me: The Bretons don't seem to have a military. If all the other races seem to have armour and weapons unique to them (Well except maybe wood elves, kajjhit and argonians), then why shouldn't the Bretons? I imagine they would have mage-like armour and weapons. I was wondering if anyone would be able to create a mod or notify me of a Breton armour add in for Skyrim. :)
Ghogiel
They have knightly orders, each one loyal to their provincial leader. The knights of the Dragon are the guardians of the royal family of daggerfall.
Lachdonin
By and large, the style of Highrock armours isn't much different than that of Cyrodiil. There is probably a good amount of fur included as well, seeing as much (in other words most) of the province is mountains. Depending on how integrated Orisimer is now, you could probably also see a degree of Orcish armours. In other wards, their mostly like Skyrim and Cyrodiil. Typical human styles. Typical human styles.I always imagined them with more pomp, less Germanic/nordic like the Nords, and less Romanesque like the Imperials. The real world inspiration for Breton probably being the Bretons. Combined with the noble and aristocratic courts. feudalism, political intrigues, knightly orders, It all comes across as fairly typical middle age europe. Charlemagne kinda stuff. huntsman2310
I'd imagine that each region or city state has been influenced by a different racial theme or appearance Daggerfall would have a more curved and graceful look, basically a retextured ebony armour maybe? Farun and Jehenna (two citys closest to Skyrim) would have a distinctly nordic/gothic look. Wayrest and Evermor (citys closest to Hammerfell.) would have a mongolian or persian theme like the redguard do. And the two cities in the geographical center (Camlorn, Sharnhelm and Northpoint.) would have a purely gothic theme. This is just for the Knightly orders so it won't represent every armour there.
