iXenite Posted February 5, 2017 Share Posted February 5, 2017 Skyrim Special Edition is the better choice for the future in my opinion, but the standard Skyrim Legendary Edition is also good if you just want to enjoy mods right now. I mean you could buy the old game on Steam and play it until the Special Edition is both cheaper and has mod support if you want, but I don't think double dipping is really necessary. Depending on your setup though, the Special Edition may end up being the better choice due to the fact it requires far less mods to make it look very pretty. The old version of Skyrim it takes way more graphics mods to look decent, plus you need to have an ENB if you want to avoid the disgusting shadows present in the original game. Just my opinion.
