What I should install first

Hi, I have something to ask that really confusing me all this time when installing mods :confused:

Which one I should install first, skin texture or NPC Replacer ?

Example : Fair skin or Bijin mods

In this particular case I don't think it matters. The reason is the NPC replacer Bijin states:

 

This mod will change the appearances of
Vex, Sapphire, Irileth, Rikke, Hulda, Lisette, Carlotta, Karliah, Tonilia, Adrianne, Ingun, Maven, Gerdur and Idgrod the younger.
This Mod is STANDALONE which means no other Mods will be required.
You can install them with no problem whatever body types(UNP or CBBE or Vanilla etc...) you are using.

 

Because this is a stand alone it means all required files are included and should not impact a texture you are using for your character and any NPC not listed as impacted by the mod. For safety sake I would use the fair skin mod first and then the NPC replacer.

Use Mod Organizer and these worries go out the window.

 

Because its a simple drag and drop rather than uninstall and reinstall.

 

Strongly suggest MO over NMM. its simply a much much better tool. Remember to always read mod descriptions as authors usually mention the correct installation/overwrite order if it matters.
