ceano
Is there any mod that removes the population demand for level 4 merchants?, or can any one tell me how to change it my self. Thanks, Ceano.

joemitchell320
I think the population requirement for those vendors in found somewhere in the monstrosity that is the workshopparentscript.pex or the workshopparent quest. Make backups, because those are responsible for many, many things in game and if you mess something up it will take everything down with it. Crimsomrider
I actually tried doing this myself. You basically open the Vendor NPCs and there's a part in their script which says how many settlers there needs to be in the settlement. But unfortunately, even after I changed that number to 0, they never changed their requirement. I think it's somewhere in vendor QUEST or NPC. I remember doing a lot of Right Click > Use Info to track the script down. I even tried starting a new game to see if maybe the changes weren't updating on an already existing playthrough, but no luck. I'm not saying that it's impossible, but I certainly did not find a way to do it. But then again, my scripting knowledge is absolutely 0. I definitely would love to see a mod for this because I find these vendors in the wasteland and then I never find them again because I did not have enough settlers on the initial meet-up. chillshock
I'd avoid using 0. You know... divisions blowing up, multiplications dropping even the hugest factors to 0... all those weird and hard to debug things that happen if you set something to 0 that usually never is. ceano
You are right there and you will always have at least 1-2 settlers in the settlement (1 guard and 1 farmer) so 2 is the minimum I'm going for.
