Trueblue1878
I think we all know the quest log in Skyrim is appalling. It wouldn't be hard to improve it I think.. I wish I knew enough about modding to do it myself but I am willing to help anyone out with the actual quest information if they take care of the modding side of things. So basically if someone makes the mod that puts misc quests in the normal quest list and maybe expands the quest window to make it easier to navigate through (e.g. sorting quests by each area/city) I will add all the info for each quest based from my own experience and the info on the fansite wiki's. I will also personally do each quest to make sure the information is correct! Anyone interested? Cheers!
sajuukkhar9000
I don't get the complaints about the Skyrim quest log It tells you what locations you have to go to, and what item you have to find/person to kill.
mazakala
I don't get the complaints about the Skyrim quest log It tells you what locations you have to go to, and what item you have to find/person to kill. I didn't even notice. Apparently people don't get involved in quests enough to remember them, so they want to read in their journal that they've "spoken to X who has asked them to help them with Y by talking/getting/killing Z" and not just "Get Z" Edited January 17, 2012 by mazakala

Makes me laugh all the time
NorthWolf
It'd actually be pretty hard to improve because you'd have to go through all the quest entries and make them more detailed. I mean it's not complicated but it would certainly be tedious, plus add in the potential that the radiant quests wouldn't even track which X told you to kill Y, etc.

WildDragonfly
I've personally never come across difficulty with the journal O.o as others have said, the descriptions may be short and sweet but they tell you all you need to know.

mrnukem368
The problem I have is as a casual gamer I play for an hour or two one night, then might not get time to play again for a week or two so when I go back my quest log is full and some are easy to figure out because they at least say where to go to accomplish the goal but others are a bit tougher in they just say talk to "name" and dont say at least where that person is. It does not mean I don't get into the quests, its just that I have a longer time between play sessions and because I am an old man my memory is not so good. I would find this kind of Mod or upgrade to the game very useful
