onson
The wait for this game was brutal. I was counting the seconds. Now I've played 300+ hours and I'm ready to tweak a few things. In fact modding is what changes this game from great to OMFG I'm never leaving the house!I guess the difference is I have something to do while waiting on the editor. But still, I'm dying here! Are they gonna wait until 11:59 January 31? Anyone else feeling my pain?
JanusForbeare
Nope, you're alone on this. The rest of the community will be perfectly happy playing vanilla until they release the next TES game in seven or eight years. :P Seriously though, we've probably got enough CK desperation threads/suicide notes already. It'd be better to go rant on the "Where's the CK?" thread or the "Creation Kit... today?" thread (created Jan. 1) than to create a new one and all the drama it entails. DeadricDamodred
I think so. As I said in another thread, I'd rather they had just delayed release of the game until they could release both the game and the CK at the same time. When you start playing an Elder Scrolls game, it doesn't take long before you want to start making changes (or in some cases you have changes you make on all of them such as me. I always change up vampires by giving them different and better abilities and I make it so the vampires have all their powers when they are fed and lose powers the longer they go without blood; which makes way more sense than the way it is in ES games with vampires getting more powerful the longer they go without blood). People would not be bouncing off the ceiling and walls right now wanting to do their changes if they haven't even played the game yet. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm more willing to endure a long wait for a game release than, but this wait for the CK is killing me. My example I used in the other thread was Blizzard. Blizzard has conditioned us all to not jump up and down in expectation on game releases. We know how slow Blizzard is. The example I used was Diablo 3. I'd love to start playing it, but I know Blizzard won't release it until they are darned good and ready; it could be by the end of this year it could be next year.......who knows with them. I'm not bouncing off the walls because it's expected that Blizzard is slow for game releases. If Bethesda still had not released Skyrim right now, I would not be bouncing up and down and complaining about it not being released because of my experience with every single game from Blizzard. But since they did release it and I have played it, it makes the wait for the CK that much harder because everytime I turn on the game and play it I feel like I'm wasting my time and not having as much fun because I know what I could change and be better for me personally (such as the backwards way they do vampires). diamonddragoniori
an idea that cannot be implemented is quite frustrating to behold....there are so many changes and tweaks i want to make....yet the CK is not released yet...i we don't even know if changes made can be "charged" by valve and steam.... and the fact that maybe we would not have as much control as we had under the previous titles....due to it being tied in to steam...and the fact that the CK could be even more buggier than skyrim....(this is the Bethesda QA and development team we are talking about....)....gives me the jitters..... add this to the frustration with the update blackout Bethesda seems to be doing right now....i almost was to move in with their QA head...and keep prodding him/her with a sharp and hot stick until they get their act together and release a polished CK.... all i want to say to Bethesda is "take as much time as u need....just keep us informed and lay your lives down to release a bug free CK....." daventry
Since im no Modder, the CK doesent bother me the least, its the Quest Breaking Bugs that is driving me crazy since i am so SICK of Farkas as my Companion, because there was this Dragon we need to Kill and it Never came, plus allot of other Quest Bugs. The other strange bug is at the Windhelm Stables to the right where a Cart is stuck 50 feet in the air and Nothing brings it down, not even Fus Roh Dah. It gets weirder, theres a Kid in Morthal swimming around while the other Kids are running and playing. Edited January 17, 2012 by daventry
PaladinRider
If you have all these strange bugs, are you sure you've updated to the latest version of the game? I have had absolutely 0 bugs since 11-11-11. Not one. I don't understand how all these people are getting these bizarre bugs, what are you doing that no one else is? daventry, I don't understand, how is it a bug if a kid is swimming in Morthal? Plus, if the dragon never came, but it was supposed to, why would you continue playing instead of reload the autosave??? How did you not see that was going to happen by saying "Oh well. I'll just keep going" instead of reloading a save from 5 mins earlier?? EDIT: I had one bug with the beginning sequence where the dragon blasts through the keep. The dragon never came even after reloading. Since I had 5 mods, I just switched the load order a little bit and then guess what? No bugs. scot
I´m looking foward for the CK but I´m more eager for the next update since the patch 1.3.10 made my game unplayable so all this time I haven´t touch skyrim :( I´m just hoping the next patch fixes my game. jmalkavian
Am looking forward to the C K ...I have more confidence in the modders than bethesda in fixing this game....there are too many things wrong, BUGS and shallow if not totally annoying NPC's...forget writing a list of faults i'd be here all day & night and it still wouldn't be complete....if not for ENB anti stutter ...wouldn't even be playing it...as it is have quit to desktop more times than any game i've ever played...out of shear aggravation!. As for immersion if bethesda's idea of immersion is looking for bug fixes, workarounds. reloads, tricks and console inputs...they succeeded :verymad:

I dident had a Save before the Dragon Bug, so now in perma stuck and im seriously far into the Game to go back now. I was at Level 40 when it happend, noe im at Level 64, so i hope the New 1.4 Patch fix these things.
Pentigan
My most glaring bugs are with NPCs persisting. Even in areas they're not supposed to have been in the first place. Examples:Ulfric and his General's corpses are still hanging around in the main hall of the Palace of Kings. The two Alki'r warriors who question the guard in Whiterun are still there. There is two versions of the NPC who gets you to steal Frost. Outside the Whiterun Stables. Where that NPC shouldn't have actually gone to at any point.
