Companion - Retexturing Hands and Feet

Hey all! I've been messing with a darker complexion for Solas, but his hands are still white. I've looked into the files and I see his skin is assigned the hm basenude. I'm assuming if I change the diffuse on that it will change it for ALL males so I'm not too keen on doing that; I thought I might retexture and reassign the qm basenude to him in the EBX but I'm running into trouble. Has anyone done this before? Is there another way to retint his hands (and feet) without retinting ALL males?

As far as I know, reassigning textures to one character isn't possible. The easiest and probably best solution would be to just switch out his skin tone (#3 i think) with a darker one. That way it won't change all men, just the people using his skin tint. The npcs that don't have their own complexion (anyone that's not a companion/advisor) will have this sorta staticy thing going on with their face, but only 15 npcs in the entire game use his skin tint so it really isn't that big of a problem imo.

Solas in particular is weird because (as far as I know) all of his arm/leg upgrades make his hands/feet much darker than his default. I've spent a little time poking around trying to figure out what's going on there but the furthest I got was swapping the shaders around, which seemed to have some effect, just not the correct one. (It's worth noting that due to the way models are assigned you can simply overwrite his default arm/leg models with similar upgrades when he's equipped out in the world but you can't do the same at hub areas Haven and Skyhold because companion models are handled like normal NPC models when they're not in your party so the alternate models aren't in the mesh variation db and won't load in)

I haven't tried reassigning textures myself but I assume that's a process Frostbite have difficulty with.
