DariusAPB
All I have to say, in regards to what is possible next gen, and indeed current gen is "Crysis". Oblivion used a lot of technology found in Half life 2(2005. 2004?) IIRC. If TESV uses Crysis, or a beefed up engine of...... damn. Possibilities would be near endless... unscripted siege engines would be easily possible, at the very least , spell effects and combat would be lovely. Only thing i have to worry about here is scale, but even then Crysis handles large areas fine...
hoots7
Like others have said I think you are comparing apples to oranges.Assassin’s Creed doesn’t seem to have the scripting & AI demands that Oblivion does plus did you notice the color palette is smaller. It does interest me a lot though, especially if it will be able to have mods. worm82075
You also need to note that Oblivion is like 5 years older than AC...What frame of time are you using? Oblivion came out in 2006. That is true, however Oblivion wasn't developed in a month and the Oblivion engine was created as early as 2003, possibly 2002. That makes GBhis' statement quite accurate.
