I dont see any naked children in these mods or something...all these bodies look adult as far as i can tell, i think you are overreacting, this looks like the typical moral reaction somewhere where it isnt needed...i think there is plenty of places on the internet where your moral fight would be better suited.

 

Im pretty sure if any of these mods would have anything to do with that, they would never been alowed here.

 

There is one thing i learned from seeing plenty of these moraly disturbed people...usualy many of them see perversion somewhere where it isnt, because they have these thoughts, not saying you do, but it makes one think if they really fight for morale or just trying to hide behind it.

Assumed, in my second post, the guy was talking about someone posting overly risque clothing on kids and somehow getting away with it. :confused: I wouldn't be kosher with that, really, but... what he posted is entirely inconsequential, I agree.

If I'm guessing right he probably saw 'nipples' and 'child' in the same sentence and went apeshit mad. If it's the comment I remember seeing, the guy simply asked if they could retex the MALE child so he can have nipples, cos the sad truth is...males have nipples too but for some reason, they don't already so they look like these creepy nipple-less demons from hell. He probably only requested it cos he had the intention of using hide armor or something, which would look really weird if he didn't have any, or there was a giant, black censored bar underneath.

 

People need to stop misinterpreting what it is people ask for and why. Not everyone is a pervert. Don't lose faith in humanity just yet!

Yeah, I noticed. There is this ongoing perversion where players try to put 'realism' into a fantasy game and keep uploading all these perverted 'realistic' mods. Realism!!! If you want realism, turn off your computer and go outside (it might be dangerous, though, no console commands and such). :biggrin: :wink:

 

(Just kidding, but on a serious note: the usual complaint against the authors of skimpy mods is that "sex stuff" has no place in Skyrim, and they should watch some X-rated program instead. I wanted to show that this blade can cut both ways).

the question is about responsability really i think.

modders are given the means to produce almost everything in this game.

if you mod the game to your personal desires without uploading to the public

it stays private and you can do whatever you want imho.

 

if you upload your mod on the net

it's a different ball game.

 

the tools bethesda gave us (and will hopefully give us when the CK is around) are NOT meant

for your personal pleasure, they are given to make Skyrim a better game for the community.

 

i can hardly imagine how more nudity or other kinkyness enhances gameplay. beth -edit and the nexus /edit- should imho ban it.

 

Who decides (and who is arrogant enough to claim the right to decide) what makes Skyrim a better game for the community? In my opinion, the only person you are entitled to speak for is yourself.

Got slapped over the gameplay already, and your point that its not up to me to decide what makes skyrim better is taken.

Still, i wonder if it is possible or desirable for bethesda or the nexus to ward off undesirable graphics or content.

I mean, it's an adventure game, not an x rated movie.

There is no problem with being old fashioned as long as you don't try to force your views on others. Consider Nexus as a city where different people live and work: if you want to avoid the red light district, you are welcome to do so, even though you will still bump into things that will be distasteful. (There is a tag that lets you filter adult content, myself I haven't used it so I cannot comment on how well it works).

 

My point is: you cannot judge a man (or woman) on the basis of their preferences/tastes. The 'perverted freak', who loves bondage, skimpy mods and other kinky stuff may be the guy/gal who pulls you out of your wrecked car next day and save your life.

He probably got aroused by the idea and then lashed out others for his own response, having never thought of kids running around naked as perfectly natural (though I did grow up poor in a warm climate myself). Anyone who sees or hears about naked children and their first thought is sexual in nature, or an offense to such, has their own personal issues. Grouping this mod request that he somehow found with others seems odd to me. Why are we even talking about it?
