LE Faster Weapon Drawing Animation?

Basically, I am very surprised to find that no-one has done a mod that speeds up the weapon drawing animations, ie. reduce the time it takes to unsheathe your weapon. I refuse to believe I am the only one who would like this to be a thing, and it seems such a simple and obvious thing to change. But of course, I might be completely overlooking something.

 

Does such a mod exist and I just can't find it? Or is there some challenge to doing it that I haven't considered?

I think the reason why it hasn't been made is because there are in-game perks that does just that, speeds up the drawing animation. At least there is one for Archery, not sure about One- or Twohanded.

 

EDIT: No perk changes the draw time for melee weapons. A neat idea for any perk-changing mods out there.

Yes. You have to edit the animation files and that's something just a few modders are capable to. And obviously none of them shares your opinion that the speed of drawing a weapon is something that has to be changed.

I was searching for a mod for this and this was the first thing that came up. Was surprised no one made a mod for this yet. I'd love to be able to draw and switch my weapons faster for some more tactical gameplay. I don't need nor want it to be instant, but your character just looks so sluggish and bored when he draws his weapons even in the heat of combat.

Im looking for this myself. I always die between switching for a shield, is frustrating.

I really think I need this one as well, so annoying to play 2H using a build that constantly switches weapons

Maybe even have the character pull it out fast and attack immediately. I dunno.
