AndrewCX
Just a heads up to everyone that it appears the latest update for consoles has reduced the maximum number of mods from the normal PC amount (~246?) to 100 on PS4 and 150 on XB1 (they still have the same memory caps on 900MB and 2GB). This is unannounced so not sure yet if it's intentional or a bug but I guess everyone needs to be aware that there is already talk on the Bethesda.net site that "oh that's easy - mod authors are just going to have to do a better job and merge mods" and of course the "there should be one version for each combo of DLC rather than a plugin system".... I'm probably late to the party but i'm getting pretty tired of the general 'Bethesda broke it so mod authors have to fix it' attitude.... I know i'm going to think twice about producing small stand-alone mods in future and probably will abandon the "base + 1 plugin per DLC" approach I tend to take for some large mods and (if I make any large mod series in the future which is a bit doubtful) stick with a Base version & Season Pass version only approach. Arthmoor
It was intentional: https://bethesda.net/community/post/104504 Should have been in the devnotes but for some reason they just didn't put it there.
Gamwich
Well, at least Bethesda didn't just spring this on people..... it's not like they didn't give plenty of notice that this change was coming. ;)
