Make a story...

So here's how this shindig plays out haha. I'll start, picking a first number, say... 27 and then a second number... 6. Then, I'll find the book closest to me, go to page 27 and then to line 6 and write out the sentence most prevalent on that line. It doesn't matter if that lines sentence starts or finishes off that specific line, write it anyway.

So... my sentence is:

We went to the bridge at sunset with a bottle of his father's claret, the two pistols, and my arms filled with flowers from the walled garden.

Then, I give the next person a new two numbers:

38 and 3.

And we start making our story. :)

43 and 6 equals 49 the end :teehee: :teehee:?????

For Thor., or the next person who wants to contribute ... as I understand it, simply pick up the book closest to you, turn to page 43, find line 6, copy a sentence that begins or ends on that line, then give the next poster random page and line numbers so they can add another sentence to Xan's story. Q.E.D.

Will give this a try.

'I heard she 'd come here, and I don't want to make trouble,' he announced, in a loud voice and grating Middle-Border accent that no one would have associated with the soft spoken Lecturer in Philology of New College, Oxford.

"He had often proclaimed his view of Omega, a reassuring litany of comfort shared by a number of his colleagues, particularly those who had laid down a good supply of wine or had access to their college cellar"
