Deleted559960User
I've just finished recording Dovahkiin (Dragon-born), a symphonic poem for (very) large orchestra. It was inspired by (you guessed it) Skyrim, a game I have been playing a lot lately. The piece depicts the violent side of the Dovahkiin, the battle, the rage, the Dragon shouts: Dovakhiin @ SoundCloud Composing this piece has got me thinking about my earlier Oblivion Total Soundtrack Conversion MOD, and how I would love to do something similar with Skyrim, but on a much grander-scale. The original Oblivion MOD had 31 new orchestral pieces, most of which were under a couple minutes long. Granted for a video game that goes from action to suspense to battle to travel to town, etc., the music is almost always changing. But now I see a real opportunity to create something truly unique, truly made for Skyrim, and something that other game designers could potentially use in their own MODs or even new, original games. I would love to hear from you folks about whether you would like to hear more of my music for this amazing game. nosisab
You may want to consider appending the soundtrack to Skyrim so to allow the choice of replacing the original or being an alternative soundtrack to play concurrently with the original. Let the decision to the user and this will broaden the potential users for your mod. The option to chose one or the other approach can be provided at installation time.
