Papajack55
Does anyone know of a list of Skyrim mods that will work for SkyrimSE? Just curious, I thought I saw one the other day, but not sure and can't remember where. Much appreciated for any and all help.
LeddBate
Perhaps you are thinking of this list? Generally speaking, a majority of mods (that haven't been officially ported over by their authors) WILL work with SE. However, there are some caveats. Mods that utilize SkyUI and/or SKSE may or may not work. Even when they work, they will have reduced functionality. No MCM menus for example. Many of the mods that have been ported over use "workarounds" to get past things like that. For example, a mod that simply used MCM menus before might now utilize a "spell" for you to make adjustments. For now, apply mods in small amounts and try to test them rigorously if possible. This can save you tremendous amounts of troubleshooting and frustration down the road. The good news is that the Silverlock team IS working on SKSE 64 bit for SE. In addition to that, they're assisting members of the original SkyUI team with the major coding required to port it to SE as well. This means that later this spring, once the new versions of SKSE and SkyUI get released, mod authors will be able to dispose of the workarounds and port their mods over properly to make use of MCM menus again. Personally, I'm looking forward to this Spring as a real renaissance for Skyrim. In the meantime, just use officially ported mods with their workarounds and add non-ported mods sparingly (and test them thoroughly.)
wfandrews
One Oldrim mod mod that I found works seamlessly with SSE is Atlas Map Markers. It is a mod which I am partial to so I decided to give it a try in SSE. All I did was copy the .esp from Oldrim Data and paste it in SSE Data. I have played SSE for a number of hours with that mod and have had no problems at all.

I am talking about a list of Skyrim mods that work for Skyrim SE. There's a list floating around the nexus or steam somewhere that has a load of Skyrim mods that will work. Finding it is like trying to find a needle in a haystack...lol This was in answering LeddBate's answer to my question, and thanks for the help to all.
