InuyashaFE
Nords have 50% frost resistance, so they need half the clothes... I guess the other races just adapted the fashion :D Argonian Popsicles! Get your Argy Popsicles! I resemble that remark.
xleileix
There's a Khajit trader who appears outside Whiterun and complains bitterly about the cold. I find this ironic since the Khajit are covered in more fur than half the inhabitants of Skyrim.
thesapien
It's above freezing in most of Skyrim. When it rains, well, it rains. The freezing temps are only at higher altitudes. The Nords there seem accustomed to colder climates and seem to think warmer climates sound awful. So it's perfect for them. They even have a frost resistance. Cold blooded doesn't mean what you seem think it means. It often refers to animals who can function with a wider internal variation of temperatures (less finicky). They don't need to burn as much energy trying to stay warm. I'm more concerned with something like the Forsworn armor counting as armor.

Khorak
As a better example ( and a trivia question) Napoleon Bonaparte was about 5' 4" tall which was the European average 200 years ago, The term "Napoleon Complex" is derived from the portrayal of Napoleon as a shortarse standing next to Wellington in the British press. Napoleon was 5'6 at least, more commonly taken to be 5'7, which was vastly above the average French height then of 5'3. The nonsense of his height was constructed entirely by British propaganda with no basis in fact at all. It took me less than fifteen seconds to go find that out. A minute later I'd found a far more contemporary source where at the maximum Wellington was 5'10, which in no way towers over Napoleon.
mclericp
Nords have 50% resistance to cold, so the cold wont affect that much. Even though they're naturally from Elsweyr which have deserts and jungles O.o I imagine the lizards and Altmers have it the worst, while Bretons and Dark Elves from northern Morrowind are probably used to it. bpestilence
I don't think it has ever been explicitly stated that Argonians are cold blooded. Why would you assume they are? They "appear similar to lizards", but they also have breasts. We know they lay eggs, but there are at least two warm-blooded mammals on Earth that do that. drakkenfan
I always thought the skimpy clothes were silly in Skyrim's weather. Especially the Forsworn. They're practically naked.
chanchan05
The clothing thing for the nords is called "acclimatization". I actually listened to Biology class, after all it is my college major. They're bodies are used to the cold, that warm climates seem hotter for them than for others. Take for example, a Canadian going to Brazil, or a Brit going to Southeast Asia. Those guys are flushed with the heat and sweating, yet the locals don't even mind the heat. Yet when a Singaporean goes to France, they're covered up like its the middle of winter even if its just Spring or Fall.
