Putting Noses onto Lobotomites (Need some help)

Recently (add 50 air quotes), I have been attempting to attach items to armors. While I have been able to get the item to properly rig onto the armor, I have been dealing with the item vanishing at random (from observation, it seems to occur when particularly close, or at some angles)

I have been able to attach other pieces of clothing together with success, so it seems to just be items.

I have been dealing with this problem for a long time, and am hoping someone knows what's wrong here, and helps me fix it.

You can´t make itens appears in your armor? It is this your problem?

If is the case, select the item, click F9 and look for a button "delete" under Vertex Group. Click until you have nothing.

You want to put a nose (?) in the mask? Is that it? So click in your nose, with it selected, click in the mask (press shift for double selection) and them click in "object", next to view and select. Go to scripts and then select bone weight copy. Press ok.

I'm afraid that this didn't seem to work for me, thank you for the help though.

*FLASHBACK*

Oh. I must be going insane or something. I solved this problem in the past, using that exact page.

I can't believe I forgot this.

Thank you for dealing with my episode of retardation, and I hope you have a wonderful day good sir.

I'm bookmarking that page so I never forget this.

Yay, my noobishness helped

Your noobishness always helps. :p

The funny part is I wasn't even worried about it on the mesh I ran into the problem on. I ran across it trying to fix a collision issue on the sides of my tank. Unfortunately I can still walk through the wheels, but at least they don't disappear anymore.
