Moksha8088
Fallout 4 did seem strange without a few followers of Talos. Any seekers out there could always take Hubology for a spin.
fraquar
The only issue with conventional religion is how do you convince the followers that 2077 wasn't actually Armageddon? Do that, and yeah, you'd have a religious following in conventional terms - but it would be crazy to think that people would be warning people of the coming Armageddon after 2077. How much worse can it get? Which one of the "signs" was 2077, and what on earth could possibly be worse than that?
RoNin1971
if 2077 is regarded as Armageddon, 'you' have another problem. It means you where left behind (reaping) and are not allowed into heaven ... Edited June 30, 2023 by RoNin1971
Moksha8088
There was a swamp cult in Fallout 3 and in Fallout New Vegas there were Mormons.I completely forgot about that, I was honestly surprised that they went there as featuring a real world religion is dangerous enough in PC society but the Mormons are a contentious issue among many of those who would not have any problem with actual religion being portrayed in the game. Fortunately, Bethesda did not have to worry about any fatwas coming out of Salt Lake City for retribution on game developers. Just wait till you have a Saturday morning knock on your door from two young men wanting to talk to you about Talos.
