dylanpod
Anytime I try to install bigger mods on NMM it always gives me "A problem occurred during install: The execution has failed due to the bug in the SevenZipSharp. Please report about it to..." etc. I looked it up online, and I tried multiple solutions.1st: disabling my anti-virus software. Did not work. 2nd: Make sure you are up to date with 7zip. Installed new version, did not work. 3rd: Make sure you have enough space in your hard drive. I have 449 GB free, so I am pretty sure that I have enough space. I just want to know if I am doing something wrong, or if there is another solution available. Just so you know, I even made sure that NMM was installing to the correct location. It was. iXenite
Try installing WinRAR and see if that helps. If that doesn't help then try running it as admin (NMM). Not really sure of how to fix this specific issue as I've never personally run into it before, so forgive me if my attempts at solving this seem kind of weak. dubiousintent
Take a look at this thread, all the way through. (Though the same issue seems to persist though today, which suggests it is a "local configuration" issue.) You don't mention your OS or file system or if you are using partitions to break up your physical drive into more manageable logical ones, but running out of "temp" folder space is a real possibility even if you still have available disk space. That thread does have some "workarounds". Also note that having the game installed to the default Steam location under the "C:\Program Files" folder tree can cause problems. Please read the "Installing Games on Windows Vista+" article (link in my signature), and follow the instructions on moving it. The same "anti-malware protection" issue can apply to the "temp" folder used by NMM/7Zip. That should also not be under protected areas such as the "C:Windows" or "C:\Program Files" folder trees. -Dubious-
