Reilly's Rangers now Hostile?!

I just made it to the roof of the Statesmen Hotel and suddenly I'm informed that Reilly's Rangers are now Hostile to me. I've NO idea what I could possibly have done to make this happen. I had Doc Barrows revive Reilly in Underworld, told her I'd save her guys and then got busy. Here's my Load Order in case that may be of assistance.

I ran into the same problem with Brisa as a companion. Even when I reloaded after you get to the roof, I couldn't get to the Rangers quick enough to save them. I did this a few times, would get about half way to them, then get a message that they were hostile. I just went on up to the top section, looted the bodies and continued on my way. I have not gone to Ranger HQ yet so I don't know what my reception will be there. I don't feel it's really necessary to see Riley to continue on with the game. I don't need the extra caps for the mapping so I'm not really worried about seeing her.

Yeah, those Rangers are picky. I make it a habit of leaving any companions just inside the hotel and go up on the roof alone. Then when tasked to find a battery, I go back and get them .There's no issue after that. But I've had them go hostile even without companions - just by firing my weapon on the roof. Also, by running too fast towards the stairs. I've never gotten to the roof to find any of them dead - all the SMutants are hamburger by the time I get there. So I put the gun away and wait till they're done ;)
