Mirmulnir still bugged?

EDIT: SOLUTION:
- Go to the scripts folder
(usually something like C: -> Program Files -> Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Skyrim Special Edition -> Data -> Scripts

- Find 'dragonActorSCRIPT.pex
- Delete it.

I think it should work for Skyrim as well, but you'd have to find the file in the Skyrim folder.

 

 

ORIGINAL POST:

I've started a new, unmodded game in Skyrim SE. I want to play it without mods at least once, but can't get past Dragon Rising. Mirmulnir still seems bugged, and doesn't give up his soul.

 

I know that I can advance the quest using console commands, but I also read that for normal skyrim, that would mean that no other dragons spawn. Not quite what I intended.

I also tried:
- reloading an earlier save
- starting a new game using the COC concole command from the main menu, and starting the Dragon Rising quest with Console.

Neither of those work.

 

- Reinstalling the game doesn't help, so don't try that!
