AWThorn
On a recent play through of Morrowind it came to my attention that the dialogue window could be improved if you had some way of telling if you had read a specific topic before. For example, If I have already talked to an NPC about a specific topic it could be grayed out, or unread topics (or those with new responses) could show up as blue or some other color. I have played other games where topics with new dialogue show up in bold or are a different color. Does anyone know of a mod that creates this effect? If not, is it possible? Dragon32
I thought dialogue topics you click on are already shown in a different colour thereafter... To answer your question though: no, I don't know of any mods which affect the dialogue window. Unlike Oblivion, where UI elements are defined in XML files (AFAIK), Morrowind's UI elements are hardcoded. It'd need someone to massively extend the capabilities of either MWSE or MGE (MGE XE) before such jiggery pokery would be even possible. AWThorn
Thank you for the education. I have done some basic modding myself but never got into the user interface. I guess I will stick with reading every topic to see if an NPC has something new to say.
