diosoth
Is there any major drawback or game-breaking harm in doing this should I choose to bypass major portions of a quest? I don't really feel like playing the entire Fighters Guild again, the contract quests bore me and this is the 3rd time through this game... if I were to skip ahead to near the end would it cause any sorts of problems? I know I might miss out on a few item rewards but beyond that...
Lisnpuppy
Yes there can be. Yo may want to read the UESP Wiki for Oblivion quest to see some of the things that can go wrong in doing so. (Since Skyrim is a babe still.) People that are supposed to be dead are not, things may or may not still trigger, etc. Also you would want to have all stages in each quest completed if you do this or weird things can happen. I'd say you'd be better served either not doing it at all or simply go into godmode if you want to cheat to make the stuff go a bit faster. But take your chances.
