SkiLodge
If you aren't already using mod manager I would switch to that. It keeps the oblivion data folder clean and installs everything to a virtual install, so you can add and remove mods without worrying about messing up your game. Mod manager wont install obmm files but you can always run obmm through mod organizer to solve that (although even most obmm mods have a bain/manual version). ReverendFelix
I use wrye bash. But, I have a firm understanding of manual installs, so any non-bain mods I handle that way. I really think I messed up in cleaning something I shouldn't have with TES4edit. I don't have a clear understanding of UDR and ITM meanings or how they can effect the game. I have read that some mods have purposeful dirty edits and such. So it's a bit confusing knowing which to leave alone. I always read the read me files and try to follow accordingly. Striker879
Cleaning mods is another good place for "do one thing and then test thoroughly".
