macaronianime Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 I have been looking for the issue for this issue and cannot seem to figure it out. I have used NMM before for Oblivion and now when i go to scan to look for the game Oblivion is not even on the list for detection. Does anyone know what this issue is caused from? Thankyou.
Sonja Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 I don't know the answer to your question, unfortunately. However...word of advice... do not use NMM for Oblivion.... Oblivion was created well before the advent of NMM, and it often gets things wrong. I suggest manually downloading your mods, and then using Wrye Bash to install them.
wizardmirth Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Actually NMM-Oblivion does work for most normal mods. However stuff like OBSE plugins or complex installs like OCO2 might require some manual install. And if you accidentally hit scan games and then cancel and go back then you will have to finish the setup. Oblivion should be their along with all other supported games, however, you may have manually direct it if the program can't find it. And then you have to manually check/accept or cancel each game.
