ninja_lord666
He even changed hs name to Sharky & couldn't even rule over the Shire, that's pitiful man. Thanks for reminding me. I forgot about that part! :D He even failed at taking The Shire, The Shire! He was beat by a bunch of lazy fat midgets with sticks and rocks. How pathetic is that? Also, the Uruk-hai aren't that important, either. They did the following things: kill Boromir, steal two hobbits (who actually lead, directly, to Isengard's downfall), fail to kill the Rohirrim, and get completely devoured by a "forest" of Huorns. Lastly, and most importantly, the Uruk-hai aren't very special. They are still orcs. The only difference is that they're bigger and resistant to sunlight, but they are still orcs, through and through. Saruman didn't create a new race, he improved an already existing one. Edit: fixed typo on Orcs (it was late)

Yes, that is one of the few things pertaining to ancient lore that they actually got right. See, Morgoth had no power to create life. He could only twist it to his desires. Orcs were once elves; trolls were once ents; Balrogs were once Maiar. I forget what the dragons once were, though. Edit: Wait, eagles. Yes, eagles. I'm not fully sure, but I think the dragons were once the eagles.

Edit: fixed typo on Orcs (it was late) It is true, in the Silmarillion Melkor wanted to mawk the beauty of the first born of Eru Iluvatar. He capture some of the first born elves, and mutilated them, thus creating the race of Orcs. I've read that book five times; it was a hard read. Ninja_Lord666 I agree with you on all, but I'm unsure about the dragons once being eagles. I think that they were once spirits that were easily seduced by Melkor, but I could be wrong.
