nergalman Posted January 26, 2012 Share Posted January 26, 2012 So I went to the mainframe and it was already on! :O all it does is gives me the options of hacking it. Iv'e tried reloading and all that neat junk, to no avail. I have no mods currently installed. The last crucial detail was that i used the console to resetquest and i setstage to 5...so i could start the quest, since that is the first stage. I want to redo this quest because I just lied the whole time the first time. BTW there is no option to lie on this one...and no option to install the widget...am i screwed or what? thanks guys! What options does it give you when you've hacked it?it says operation guide-which gives me the rundown of how it worksthen it says basic operation-not enough powerthen it says pest control-kill the pests then it says turn off total liquidation-i did thatthen it says turn on stress testing-makes them kill each other. so no option to put in a widget. in fact, ive looked on the tube of you and it usually gives you an option to insert it, before you hack the actual computer part...? any ideas? M48A5 Posted January 26, 2012 Share Posted January 26, 2012 You would not be able to hack the mainframe without the widget being in place. It would appear that you have already placed the widget in the mainframe. Check your inventory to see if you are still carrying the widget. If so, you have somehow screwed up the quest.
