Lachdonin
Its the 26th should be released today right? They said in January. Bethesda has never stated a specific date, all those floating around are rumours, speculation and in some cases outright lies. We still have 5 days left for them to keep the promise. Elsarian
Its the 26th should be released today right? You must keep in mind that it is not Bethesda's fault for the long wait time. Valve is taking forever, as always, to get steamworks implemented and reviewed. So technically, blame Valve. But then again it was Bethesda who decided to integrate steamworks anyway, so blame both if you wish. I am just going to keep sitting here and waiting for a release. At least the 1.4 patch is now in beta, so get that and see how it goes.
Lachdonin
:wallbash: Umm it should be ready  Umm... Should it? a lot of people go on about how "Oh, its just the system they used to make the game, why is it taking so long to release" and completely ignoring the fact that they have stated 2 things which render the asumption irrelivent. First, they have stated that they are making it more user friendly to make it easier on modders, and to open up modding to a larger volume of people. "Making it" being the point. They are changing the CK from the system they used to one which can do the same, but easier. Second, it is being, by all accounts, extensivly integrated into Steamworkshop, probably with a very simple, button click upload system. That not onyl requires coding, it requres legal negotiations and interface changes, all of which takes time. I've heard some people argue that they should just release both a Steamworkshop version, and another version, but that causes legal issues. Would mods created and uploaded through the non-steamworkshop version be subject to the same Bethesda-Valve legalities as the steamworkshop version? How would the legal nuances between both versions affect the modding community? If they are honest in their desire to offer modding support and tutorials, would these be aplicable to the non-steamworkshop version? There is too much hassel, practically and legally, with releasing two versions. We also know that the CK we receive will NOT be the one they used to make the game. There has been absolutely nothing to support the asertion that 'it should be done'.
Syco21
Waiting for the CK is like waiting for Christmas, but not knowing what day it falls on, only that it is supposed to happen in the next week or so. :psyduck:

You know generally when it's supposed to arrive, but not specificly, and have no idea whats going to be in it.
