Wonderingpotato
After starting Fallout 4 back up, Updating everything that required updating, I came across a texture conflict that is perplexing me.Upon discovering this I tinkered around with the mods that I had installed before starting, but none of them edit the PC.So I started looking for the culprit texture mod, but it has yet to rear it's ugly head. So far I've gone through several re downloads, an uninstall/reinstall of the entirety of my active mods. And have only been able to narrow it down to: the valkyr face texture mod, and the unique player body mod. Please help Update: Fixed! Thanks to all who gave helpful information. Edited March 3, 2017 by Wonderingpotato

Perraine
Here we go again <sigh> why is this so hard for so many to understand? ... The game engine, and pretty much every outfit mod out there (if not all of them?) looks in a very specific directory for skin textures = "Fallout 4\Data\textures\actors\character\basehumanfemale" Every texture mod you install will be in that default directory... however AFAIK the Unique Player mod uses some chicanery, either script or texture swap or some such, to change where the game engine should search for textures for the body, but only for the player character. So if you use Unique Player, then you are stuck with whatever textures that mod comes with, so you end up with texture mismatches. You must "manually" change the textures in whatever directory Unique Player uses when you are installing texture mods. I've never used Unique Player as I can't see the point (you spend more time looking at NPC's than yourself, so what's the point?) but regardless, the Author even stipulates RIGHT ON THE FRONT PAGE IN LARGE TEXT how the mod needs to be installed, I suggest you go back an re-read that "desc" page.
