darkmage64
Ok so I've decided that I want a pet Canadian but I'm not sure how to go about adopting or buying one. What all is involved? What does their diet mainly consist of? I would think it would be mostly poutine, maple syrup, and shitty beer but I could be wrong. Anyway any help would be very welcome. And just because I know I have to point this out this is all meant in good fun. Edited March 2, 2017 by darkmage64

M48A5
The diet would depend on which province they were raised in. The diet you suggested would be OK for one from Quebec, but you would have to deal with the language difference. If you want one from the Northwest, it would mostly be seal and whale meat with the occasional polar bear thrown in.It is rumored that some even eat beef. I think those are mostly in the middle provinces. Just out of curiosity, why would you want one?

Because they're small and cuddly and furry and polite and smell like maple syrup and I've heard you can even teach them to do tricks. And they make the most adorable "eh" sound when you squeeze them. That's all well and good, but you have to get them pre-trained. If you get a feral, they are almost impossible to housebreak unless done by a professional. Also, they are liable to "eh" anywhere and just leave it.
Fonger
you could try catching one on your own 1 - make pilgrimage to Regina 2 - buy some items from Tim Hortons 3 - set up a box trap 4 - bring what you catch home
