AlthosSilver
Runs like garbage. Glitchy, sporadic, bit laggy. I play much more system intensive games, and even on the lowest possible settings, Skyrim runs like absolute garbage, Havdor is constantly running at a wall and does not stop. Game was rushed out the door too fast and runs like crap. i give it a 1 of 5 stars based on how badly the controls respond, I even used my XBOX 360 Controller to see if that would make it better. It did not.

It did not. If Beth had wanted to release a more polished version, they should had waited until this 1.4 "beta patch". If players had wanted to purchase (same as above). Personally, I've found the game to run quite well on my mid-end system. The only times before the patch that it seemed to struggle was in busy cities when framerate didn't matter so much because there wasn't any combat. I had more trouble trying to get Witcher 2 running smoothly. As for the controls, you may just be used to better combat mechanics from other games. Combat in this game is less tacit than what you'd experience with a 360 controller playing many triple A titles. Combat in Skyrim was not updated to the latest and greatest and feels dated unless you're an RPG exclusive. You never get the feeling that your character is moving with you, nor that attacks are felt when landed, as if ghost are fighting while someone keeps score based on distance. There's no distinction between a head shot and an arrow to the knee either. I'm guessing you just came from playing something like the latest Batman, Assassin's Creed, or something else that spoiled your standards. Skyrim is actually pretty good for its own genre standards. Witcher 2 was maybe more polished but required a lot of GPU power and still had equally lacking tacit feeling to combat. Dragon Age 2 ran like butter with just about any GPU but was a bit hard on the eyes. It's maps and combat weren't meant to be a first person experience; more like a chess game with modern animations. menathradiel
Can't say I have that problem, just the usual stuff (hello, floating mammoth). I was actually really surprised that my computer was able to run Skyrim at more than the lowest settings because it's pretty old now and could use a newer graphics card and processor. gsmanners
I would just like for doors to open when they open and close when they close. And when you jump, you eventually land instead of staying up in mid jump. You know, little things like that.
