vastion Posted January 27, 2012 Share Posted January 27, 2012 I know that its not very "lore" friendly, but I would like to have modern intruments. Also, amps, and speaker/moniters. I would also like to see a full kit of drums made. My Idea is to use them for a consert hall, to showcase the many cover artists that have contributed thier versions to the game. I know that its a lot to ask, but also I would like to see some annimations for playing these intruments for NPC's. Galadrew Posted January 27, 2012 Share Posted January 27, 2012 (edited) I really dislike games that mix fantasy themes with science fiction themes. I'm against this idea. I'm even against the futuristic dwarven robots that are in the game right now. They try to dress it up as a past culture, but it's futuristic really. Heck we don't even have robots that fight as well as those right now with all our technology. Fantasy has traditionally been based on life as it was during the middle ages and that's the way I like it. There are only three musical instruments in the game right now. The drum, the lute, and the flute. Someone should add some more, but they should be from the middle ages. Amplifiers would just collect dust given that electricity has not been discovered yet. I don't care how it breaks lore, why should you? This is MY request, if you don't like it, then post your own. Who are you to tell someone what to put into the game? Maybe I have plans for something that I want to do. If you don't like it (and you really don't even know what just yet), then keep it to yourself. Lots of people have put mods together and uploaded them on this site. some I don't like, but I know how to not make comments. If I don't like the idea, I just walk away. Maybe you should do the same. Do you have anything to offer, other then trying to pat someone on the back for trolling? I made a request, plain and simple. If you don't like it, you don't need to comment. can you offer any support, or is trolling all you do also? Its real easy, ether you have the talent to help, or you don't, but, telling me your opinion, or saying that its not part of your game is being rude. David Brasher Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 The thing that has annoyed me is that when a female plays a lute, her bosom clips with the instrument. I am sure that this problem will become worse and worse as more body mods come out, because we know what sort of body mods people usually make. The problem would be very difficult to fix because it would require a skilled 3-D animator -- like one of the rarest kinds of modders. The animation would need to be fixed so that the lute is held further from the body while it is being strummed. This problem would also apply to an electric guitar when played by a female bard. vastion Posted January 28, 2012 Author Share Posted January 28, 2012 Now that more like it. Actual discussion about the topic. I invision seeing multible NPC's playing in unison. There are several GREAT artists that have covered the Skyrim main theme, and also a few of the bards songs. I would really like to show my apreaciation by creating a place for them here.
