croc123
I would think that this applies to all sites, but I noticed this on Skyrim's search. There is a mod named Body Options on the Skyrim site. I found it by searching Google sometime back, but never used the mod. Now I wanted to use it Opened the Skyrim website, opened the front pages 'search' and typed in 'body options'. No file found. Checked my options - yes, adult mods were checked... Searched for 'option'. Found all sorts of files for various options, adoptions, no 'body options'. Went back to Google - First hit, first page. There is something - Odd - about your search engine. Next version, fix it - please. croc.
iXenite
I've always preferred Google over the Nexus' built in search function. I would assume that they will be fixing it come the eventual Nexus site redesign. Hopefully.
DrakeTheDragon
It seems there's nothing to fix with the search engine. Search term "body options", direct hit, 2nd result on page 1. It's a commonly reported problem, and always can't be reproduced, always to do with search settings or tag blocking. Check your search attributes, and more importantly check your Content Blocking preferences on this page http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/tagpreferences/and not to forget also on this page http://www.nexusmods.com/games/users/tagpreferences/? as they seem to mix sometimes. And make sure you actually check them, as I've had people reporting back they found tags checked they can't remember having checked themselves, and I can imagine it could've been a site hickup or some such as well that did it. I've made it a rule of thumb by now, always check content blocking first when you can't see mods other people can see quite fine inside search results. Bodyslide was checked local, don' remember doing that... However, neither applied, and with NO tags checked NO where, still NO hit... Maybe there's a new filter - 'no adult mods for anyone in oceania' that is a hidden system filter...
DrakeTheDragon
Wait, didn't you just say that "Anime" is blocked, both locally and globally? It being checked on the Content Blocking preferences pages I linked to means mods tagged with it will be excluded from your search results and everything else. The mod in question is tagged with "Anime", so it not appearing now is only following your preferences. Why did you say "neither applied" when it did? And what do you mean by "and with NO tags checked NO where, still NO hit"? Did you uncheck the tags (Anime) you were previously blocking inside your Content Blocking preferences and it didn't change a thing? If so, could you check if they actually aren't checked any longer, thus your changes were also saved? Perhaps you could take some screenshots, both from your Content Blocking preferences and from your Advanced Search settings, for reference so we could see where things are amiss, if they are?As far as I know there's no region-bound hidden filters or anything even possible technically, but there's very well the chance you haven't "Allow me to see adult content" selected in your preferences or for some reason it got lost.
