I can relate to that hair-pulling-ness with other approaches and complexity at this time,as my own personal FO4 mod-fu is not strong,though you ask an awesome hypothetical. there are a few ways to achieve that at this time;method 1: turn the game audio down to 0,and use a livestream service such asspotify, soundcloud, itunes, youtube etc.you can parse these through SC4 or a post-amp...badabing, you're in Sinatra or Cheese-town. that is perfectly legitimate, and how livestream services advertise their way forward... there is a long-term mod projectto essentially enable embeddable live-stream objects to be placed in-game.This will allow users who have livestream services, to use these in-game rather than via the present Method 1. this may also overlap with a node overhaul project,and a pipboy project...ie, to have dynamic node radio in game, immersively,'live actors' etc... we are presently working on using random integer sequence audio from OEIS,and if that functions, then looking at other sources.it will take a while for many modders to make this project happen,and to have it all secure and stable. I hope I gave you a few options for how to get from A to B,and I look forward to seeing these such issues be resolved by such a hypothetical overhaul project,or perhaps 'offficially-official' approach at some point. I hate playing without actual in game audio or I would gladly do this, I like to be able to hear my gun shots and where enemies might be etc. As for the live thing that's prob a ways off, I think I'd rather just have a radio mod.
