Dedric001
How do I do a full purge of all mods from NMN & fallout 4.Not sure what my son did, however I can not get a single mod to activate so I need to purge it all and start anew.
JimmyRJump
Doing a full "purge" would entice doing away with NMM and all mods, meaning you'd have to re-install the whole kaboodle, which could be time consuming (depending on how many mods youhad installed) and irrepairable as there's possibly mods that meanwhile are no longer available on the Nexus... First of all, check that the paths in NMM still point at the right folder (hit the cogwheels top of NMM's interface and choose the Fallout4 tab in the pop-up menu) and secondly check your ini files (Documents/My Games/Fallout4) to see if they haven't been reset to their vanilla settings... Dedric001
Here is what the issue is.I load up F4, and go to check the load order, nearly every mod will not load and is showing 0kb. Earlier in the day my son was having issues with the settlement build window not showing everything. I told him to play with the load order and if he could not get it to work I'd take a look.Day 1After reloading my load order from backup, and updating it with some of his mods we started having ctd issues, so we disabled the his mods not on my load order, the CTD stopped and we began redoing his mods 1 at a time figuring out where each of his mods had to go in the load order. CTD was corrected and all his mods worked great. Then I loaded my profile/game and nearly all my settlement mods were not showing. SO as a precaution I reloaded my load order checked to be sure any mods I was using was there. No change. At this point I have uninstalled F4 as a precaution and reinstalled a fresh updated game, and once I did all the mods show in NMM do not show in the game load order like they did prior to the reinstall.Day 2I then went to reinstall every mod one at a time using the "Reinstall mod" option. At this point they showed at being there at 0kb.I then uninstalled and deleted the all the mods 1 at a time, and reinstalled the mods from NMN.The mods from NMN still have 0kb and do not show in game.Day 3I came here just wanting to purge all Fallout 4 Mods and remove the game in it's entirety and start anew. I'd much rather not have to reformat my SSD but at this point it is an option.
