Sjoerd579
Hello all, I'm wondering if it's possible to adjust the /tc console command to where it'll temporarily delete your own character, and let you have FULL control over the creature you're controlling. (Attacks, movement, etc.)Right now it lets you only move around the creature, and it moves your own character WITH it. I'd like to know if the following is possible:- Temporarily remove your own character, or at least force it to stand still.- Let you control the attacking. (Example: the dragons ice/fire breathe, bears claws)- Let you control dragons while flying. I don't know if this is possible, and how much work it will take. Kind regards,Sjoerd Edited January 29, 2012 by Sjoerd579
nosisab
Quick answer NO, console commands are a feature from the game executable and cannot be modified, at most you could expect it being extended (I mean, new commands added at run time). Long answer: Anyway what you want is better accomplished by scripts, what I noticed many users aren't aware about SKSE is it integrates itself to the CK (unless something changed very drastically relative to all previous modding tools from Bethesda), that means you'll see and maybe use yourself it's functions in the very esp like the vanilla one instead a lot of plugins hanging around. That is what SKSE does, it becomes part of the game itself, seamless to the point a mod made with it is only distinguishable from a vanilla mod for, of course, needing the extended functions otherwise lacking in vanilla. This happens both, using the mod and "making" the mod. So, What you want or is already on vanilla or "possibly" will be implemented into SKSE, and them used as wanted in mods. Anyway, better waiting a bit more till the CK is released and then it's secrets unveiled. Even so, taking direct control of creatures is something I don't see as trivial since it is the same as making them "playable character", not something to be accomplished by a single console command and in the end, even if attempted a possible source of headaches.
