FlashStone
So I have NMM and the problem is that its not placing the texture or meshe files in my c/steam data/ textures or meshes.. How do I solve this? I can get my mods to work if I place the textures myself. All the settings for NMM are correct it finds the data file just does not add meshes and textures.. Any ideas? Mktavish
"steam data" ??? I myself have ... C:/Games/BethSoft/Fallout NV/ SteamApps/Common/Fallout New Vegas/Data That is from installing my FNV disc , which installed steam to the same "C:/Games/BethSoft" root I gave it for my Fo3 prior. But of course I had to tell it to install there ... so maybe the "Fallout NV" was my creation ... but I have no "Steam" folder that holds the "SteamApps" folder and all the other steam related folders/files. However I forgot to mention ... my NMM is only presently set up for launching Fo3 ... so I might experience the same thing if I attempted to use it for NV. The "Steam Data" threw me for a loop though. Edited March 13, 2017 by Mktavish

What are the install locations for the game and NMM? Do the installation instructions say they can be installed by NMM? A lot (most) of the mods for Fallout 3 were published before NMM, so they may not be setup to be installed by NMM.
Deleted21304489User
If the mod author didn't structure the files properly, then NMM can't put them in the correct place. In this instance, you must do a manual install. I myself, have at least 15-20 mods that I have to install manually. This is normal.

M48A5
Part of your problem is "C:\Program Files " This is the worst place to have Fallout 3. There are so many mods that will not work when the game is installed in "Program Files" that there are instructions from STEAM on how to move the game. Now your mods, CBBE is not a Fallout 3 mod. Caliente does not mod for Fallout 3. What courser outfit?

I didn't think the game version matter as this is a problem with NMM and not the game... and I've always had C;/ where all my games are. never had any problems with any games there. When you open "The Nexus Forums" you will see listed the different categories of forums. Problems with Nexus Mod Manager should be posted in "Nexus Mod Manager - Open BETA, Open Beta Feedback". When you open "Nexus Site Forums", you will see listed the different sub-forums for each individual game that has a forum. That is where problems with a game should be posted in that game's forum.
